Dark, sticky and warming, made the old-fashioned way with black treacle and golden syrup and a good measure of ground ginger. It keeps beautifully and improves after a day or two in the tin. Lovely on its own, and very good indeed with a bit of cheese if that's how you were brought up.
Dairy free as standard, like every cake we bake, so there is no need to ask or pay extra.

Every cake is baked in a home kitchen that also handles nuts, wheat, eggs and other ingredients, so we cannot guarantee any cake is free from traces.
